Ask about situations your customers really face
A question like “what year was the brand founded?” makes nobody want to buy. Ask about a situation customers really face, such as “If you work outdoors all day, which model should you choose?” Questions like this make players think of themselves, and the answer becomes the reason to choose your product.
Ask about one thing at a time, in words your players know. A question people have to read twice eats into the time that should be fun.
Three options are enough, with one clear answer
In a booth, people have only a few seconds per question. Three options are quick to read and easy to tap on a touchscreen. Keep the options about the same length, because the longest answer is often guessed as the right one. The question needs clear context, and the answers must not leave people hesitating or guessing.
The answer explanation is the heart of the game
After every answer, show a short line with the reason, then bring it back to what the product does for people. Even players who got it wrong take something about the brand home. A good explanation must be shorter than one line on screen and readable before the next question appears.
Have your brand team check every question and answer before sending them to us, especially numbers, features, and campaign conditions, so nothing needs fixing at the last minute.
A timer and a leaderboard make people want another round
The Quick Quiz demo on our site gives 10, 15, or 20 seconds per question, faster answers score more, and there is a leaderboard for the session. The leaderboard makes people watching want to beat the top score and keeps a steady queue at your booth. Four to five questions per round is a good starting point that keeps the queue from getting too long.

How hard should the questions be?
Most people should get them right if they read the question carefully. A game so hard that people have to guess makes them stop caring about the explanation.
